What are newsgroups in computer

What Are Newsgroups :

Newsgroup is a collection of messages sent by different people to a news server. There can be thousands of newsgroups on one computer. You can find newsgroups on almost any topic. Some newsgroups are moderated. Most are not like this.

The owner of a moderated low group is the one who reviews postings, answers questions, and removes inappropriate messages. Anyone can send a message to a newsgroup. Newsgroups do not require membership or joining fees of any kind.

Use of newsgroups in Outlook Express requires your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to provide a link to one or more news servers. After you set up an account for each server you want in Outlook Express, you can read any of the small groups stored on the lower server and send your message.

When you've found the small group you want, you can subscribe to it and display it in the Outlook Express folders list. After subscribing you get easy access to your favorite newsgroups and you don't need to scroll through tons of mini servers to get to your favorite newsgroups.

Small Groups can contain thousands of messages which can take a long time to organize. Outlook Express has a number of features that make it easier to find information in newsgroups. To add a newsgroup, you must know the name of the minimum server to which you want to join. Along with this, his account and password should also be known to you as per the requirement.
